OLD AND NEW HONG KONG WALKING TOUR
Your tour will begin with a visit to the Man Mo Temple. This is Hong Kong's oldest and most famous temple and is named after the god of war and the god of literature. Traditionally parents bring their children here at the beginning of the school year to pray for blessings. You will then drive to the SoHo area, named for its location South of Hollywood Road, with smaller, quieter bars and a large number of trendy restaurants. Your walking tour will take in Hollywood Road, the SoHo Area and Pottinger Street, the Central District Police Station, Stanley Street and the longest escalator in Hong Kong. At the end of the tour you will stop at the parallel Li Yuen Streets East and West - sometimes called "the Lanes" - in the Central District, which is a great place to find inexpensive ready-to-wear clothes and souvenirs.
